PENELOPE

Penelope is a blown yarn, produced using a specialised blowing machine that combines a tubular mesh – in this case cotton – with alpaca and wool fibres, which are blown inside through the action of compressed air. The contrast between the fibres and the addition of multicoloured viscose buttons give it its distinctive colour effect with a subtle tweed note. A highly versatile and unisex yarn, Penelope is easy to work with and suitable for creating jumpers, including those enhanced with textured stitches, as well as garments and accessories for children.
